When it comes to the longitudinal and transverse profiles, errors can be rectified by reworking the track-profile on a regular basis. At the same time, the option that features erosion intensities of up to 1.5 mm for the running surface and up to 5.0 mm for the gauge line (to be eroded in a single passage) effectively eliminates the head checks. The method of combining erosion caused by a milling machine with erosion caused by a grinding process facilitates perfect track correction.
The SF 06 features 2 milling units that are placed in a row. These are followed by a grinding unit and an intermediary station.
